Thinly Sliced Pāua in Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

  • Pāua (tenderised and sliced thinly)

  • 2-3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Lemon wedges, zest and herbs of your choice to serve.

Method:

  1. Heat the butter in a frying pan or on the BBQ over medium-high heat.

  2. Put the butter or oil on.

  3. Add the sliced pāua and garlic to the pan/BBQ and fry quickly, 2-4 minutes depending on how thick your slices are and how hot your pan is. Be careful not to overcook, as pāua can become tough if over cooked!

  4. Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Simple, quick, and packed with flavour!
