Pāua
Thinly Sliced Pāua in Garlic Butter
Ingredients:
Pāua (tenderised and sliced thinly)
2-3 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Lemon wedges, zest and herbs of your choice to serve.
Method:
Heat the butter in a frying pan or on the BBQ over medium-high heat.
Put the butter or oil on.
Add the sliced pāua and garlic to the pan/BBQ and fry quickly, 2-4 minutes depending on how thick your slices are and how hot your pan is. Be careful not to overcook, as pāua can become tough if over cooked!
Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Simple, quick, and packed with flavour!
