Troy and Claire are a couple who live on the Tora coastline and founded Tora Collective with a deep passion for sharing their environment in a sustainable and meaningful way. Their lives revolve around the rhythms of the ocean and land, and they have created these experiences to share the magic of the ākau (coast) with you—welcoming you into their world where adventure, fine food, and deep connection to place come together.
Troy – Skipper, Surfer, and Expert Guide
Born and raised in Tora, Troy has spent his life on these waters. With over 15 years of experience as a skipper, he knows every tide, current, and hidden gem along the coastline. Whether guiding you on a fishing adventure, sharing stories of the sea, or finding the perfect wave, Troy’s deep connection to this place ensures an unforgettable experience. His knowledge of the land and ocean makes him the ultimate guide for those wanting to explore Tora’s raw beauty firsthand.
Claire – Host & Experience Curator
Claire is your go-to person for everything you need before, during, and after your experience at Tora.
